Item Art Deco Jug

Details Pottery. Lovely colourful painted art deco decoration. Stamped in black to the base, impressed with the shape number 261/2 and 'Made in England', with a hand-written number (looks to be 7649). Nice rounded design with a shaped handle characteristic of the Art Deco period.

Condition Very good condition with some wear consistent with age. No chips, cracks or crazing. There are some flaws in the glaze and the paintwork as might be expected and there is some scratching rubbing and wear to the paintwork in places. There is a manufacturing flaw in the base. Overall slightly grubby.
