A stunning antique military campaign style chest of drawers in yew wood. This was made in England & dates from around the 1930’s period.

It is of exceptional quality, with an unusual top that spins round and unfolds to double in size. This chest has brass corner fittings, sunken military drawer handles & brass side handles. It’s also beautifully finished on the back too, so can be used as a free standing item.

The yew wood has a gorgeous colour plus beautiful grain patterns & the construction beneath the yew veneers is of high quality, with fine hand cut dovetailed joints in the drawers. The top & the drawer fronts are all inlaid & cross banded, with beautifully patterned veneers in the middle.

We have recently had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
