Ladies Work Table - Serpentine - c1840
A well presented and stunningly designed serpentine early English Victorian flame mahogany ladies table in excellent antique condition.

This desirable work table has very pleasing proportion with quality evident throughout.

The elegant octagonal base sits over a quartet of under feet with original castors. Stepped chamfered edges lead to an eight sided bulb and into an attractive stem supporting the upper.

Classic flame mahogany, egg beading and the flowing line of the box ensure that this gorgeous piece of English antique furniture will delight in any decorative theme.

This workbox offers useful storage capacity and practicality with lift top revealing a lined interior and a lower drawer complete with lock & key. It will function well as a feature side table if required.

Overall a very collectible item of antique furniture which benefits from both condition and form.

It is perfectly robust and suitable for daily use.
