On offer this amazing Georgian gold pin with the hand painted porcelain miniature of William Shakespeare. The miniature is in a rub-over setting with scroll decoration to the top & bottom. It has a closed back.

Condition some scuffs & scratches to the miniature & part of the top scroll missing. But to be honest, for a piece of this age it’s not too bad.

It comes in an antique box by ‘H. Samuel'.

The pin is just under 8 cm long & the setting measures 1.9 x 1.3 cm.
