This is a good William IV period overmantel mirror in nice original order dating from around 1835. The triple mirror retains its original water gilding which is in fine order with a really good rich colour and patina. The mirror glass are the original mercury plates which have some ageing and speckling. This is very characterful and they are in really good useable order bearing in mind the age of the piece. They are mounted in ebonised and reeded hardwood mounts set into the giltwood frame.

The mirror has maximum overall dimensions of 110 cms wide at the cornice 103 cms at the base and 50 cms high.
