This is a very charming water colour painting of a pheasant dating from the early 19th Century. The pheasant is perched upon a tree stump and the painting is on an embossed card by Dobbs of London and presented in a period burr walnut glazed frame with a gilt slip The frame measures 18 cms by 13 cms.
