An elegant antique Victorian walnut framed stool dating from circa 1870. Of rectangular form, the drop-in seat has been recently recovered. With a cushion moulded seat rail, on scroll shaped legs united by turned x-shaped stretcher with central carved finial. The stool has been recently recovered in a cream brocade fabric over the existing webbed horsehair which is in good condition.

Solid and sturdy. Good colour and patina to the Walnut. Recently recovered over the existing webbed horsehair which is in good condition. Some small marks to the fabric. Other general wear and marks commensurate with age.
