This is a late Victorian Solid Walnut Compactum c1890-1910. It is raised on bracket feet with a pair of very large drawers to the base section. The upper section has three opening doors with the right hand side being a small hanging section and the left and middle being a double width opening hanging section. Inside each section there is a large hanging rail with side movable hangers as well. Each flanking door is carved and has fielded panels with the middle door having a bevel edged mirror and arched top. There is some blistering to the mirror but doesnt detract at all and is perfectly usable and adds character. The top cornice has a dentil moulding and large ogee moulding above. It is extremely heavy and of Superior Quality.
