This is a Victorian Mahogany Sutherland table c1880-1900 of Superior Quality. The Sutherland table is proported to be named after Harriet Duchess of Sutherland (1806-1868). A good table that has narrow proportions when closed and can sit fourn people comfortable when opened and does not take up much space when closed and stood against a wall. A great example with a nice patina. It would make a good Bridge or card table.
