A beautiful and large original antique Victorian period writing table in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1840-1860’s.

It is of amazing quality and is a fantastic size. The turned solid mahogany legs are very bold and strong, sitting on original porcelain casters. The drawers have lovely turned mahogany handles, recessed fronts and fine hand cut dovetailed joints. This is beautifully finished on the back as well, so can be used as a free standing item.

The inset leather top which could be original, has gold tooled edges and is in great condition, with an excellent patina. We have had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent throughout for its age.
