Antique Late Victorian Mahogany Extending Dining Table that would seat eight people very comfortably and dating from around 1890. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a moulded edge to the top above a deep skirt and stands on squared and tapering legs with inlaid stringing and on a spade foot on castors. It extends by means of a Joseph Fitter winding handle and mechanism in good working order and with the insertion of one extra leaf.

Measures 29.5" high x knee height 24" x 42" deep x 58" (closed) x 76" (open)

In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
