A beautiful 19th century clerks desk with a lift up book rest slope, opening up to a finely fitted interior featuring five small drawers and a green baize lining.

Raised on lovely tall turned legs, this piece would work wonderfully in a home or commercial environment. It would make for a particularly fabulous hostess stand/podium in a restaurant. Very good condition with lots of interesting aged wear and patina.
