Original antique early Victorian leather & mahogany trunk in excellent condition. When I obtained this it was covered in a tatty fabric & the inside needed refurbishing too. The wood has all been polished & my upholsterer did a fabulous job recovering the outside & inside. The leather has all been hand tacked. After upholstery it was send to my leather specialist who hand coloured & antiqued the leather. These stools with concave sides are getting quite rare. Not only do they look good, but they are also very practicable. I would date this piece to around the 1840's period.
