Antique Victorian Inlaid Mahogany Bookcase
A very impressive antique bookcase, beautifully made from mahogany with satin wood marquetry of classical design on the lower door panels. This dates from around the 1860-80’s period.
It’s quite tall, and is of amazing quality. The upper cabinet has three leather fronted shelves, with adjustable shark teeth supports. The drawers are solid wood lined and finely dovetailed, with original brass handles which are wonderful quality. The lower cabinet also contains ample shelved storage space.
We have just had this French polished, it is in great condition for its age.
