Antique Victorian French Walnut Double Bed C1880
Antique Victorian French Walnut Double Bed and dating from around 1880.The headboard with deep rounded and fluted corners with a thick moulded top rail with carved frieze and half moulded panel below. The footboard has round fluted sides with a deep moulded top rail.Below is an oval moulded panel with a beautifully carved design of crossed flutes to the centre. The bed stands on round fluted legs and has screw in side rails. Takes a Double size mattress.
Measures 51" high to headboard x 29" high to footboard x 82" long x 54" wide .
In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
