An attractive Victorian walnut settee. We date this settee to the second half of the 19th century.

The settee sits on four ornately carved legs above their castors, the seat and backrest are well padded. The armrests have a scroll end with a lovely carved front, the carvings continue along the front of the settee below the seat.

The settee is upholstered in a pink damask type fabric material.

The settee has an overall height of 33" (84cm) with an overall length of 77.5" (197cm) and an overall depth of 33.5" (85cm). The sofa has a backrest height of 17" (44cm), a seat height of 15" (58cm), a seat width of 59" (150cm) and a seat depth of 22.5" (57cm) at its deepest.

This attractive settee remains in good solid condition with only minor surface marking commensurate with age and usage. The fabric has some very minor wear as does some of the edges of the frame.

This remains a very stylish and elegant settee. It is very comfortable and supportive to sit on. The sofa will continue to provide rest and repose for many years to come.
