A superb antique Victorian walnut breakfast table of exceptional quality & amazing design. The circular top is made up of segmented burr walnut panels & has a shaped frieze under the top edge. It also has solid walnut applied outside edges. The solid walnut base is equally impressive, with deep carvings all over the centre piece & on the legs, which sit on brass casters. Please enlarge all the images to see these wonderful details & the splendid original warm colour. This table can be tilted & placed in a corner if required. It’s also a good size & will seat 4 comfortably & 6 at a pinch. The condition is excellent & it has a good original look with plenty of character. This table dates to around the 1840-60 period. It has to be one of the finest examples of this kind of table I’ve had.
