This is a very decorative Early 19th century Tibetan elm chest with attractive hand painted characters to the front panel. The chest is substantial in size so great for storage with a nice clean original interior. This has its original hand forged hasp with later hinges and sizeable hand forged iron handles to the sides. This would make an interesting coffee table in the centre of a room. We also have another very similar example currently listed as shown in the photographs so this is a rare opportunity of purchasing a near pair.

This chest measures 81 cms by 50 cms by 60 cms high.
