This is a fine antique storage cabinet with a set of six, quality storage boxes. An English, Edwardian, mahogany and brass etagére, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1910.
In classic etagére form hosting six original, lidded boxes
Select mahogany with fine grain interest, highlighted by decorative string detail
Foliate pattern boxes in good order throughout, commensurate with age
Featuring a shaped up-stand to the rear of the galleried top
The beautifully figured top accentuated by a lustrous wax polished finish
The stiles capped with four brass finials, one to each corner
A suite of six wooden boxes of quality in appealing earth tones
Silk padded lid and lined in pink foliate print – bases featuring delightful spring flower patterns
The piece raised upon four square legs terminating in brass peg feet
