Antique Shop Display Cabinet, English, Victorian.
This is an antique shop display cabinet. An English, Victorian ash show case shop fitting dating to the late 19th century, circa 1900.
Select ash gives an air of commercial purpose, typical of Victorian stores. Showing wonderful biscuits hues with fine grain interest. Displays a desirable aged patina in a wax polished finish. Glass is bright and of show case quality
A stepped crown moulding sits at the head of the cabinet. Large rear doors open wide for easy access. Brass recessed pulls and slide bolt feature on each door. Brass lined lock bearing the name 'Comyn-Ching - London', key absent.
Offering a suite of six, original glass shelves. Configurable stays for mounting shelves at various positions. Interior lined in a complimentary, emerald green baize. Standing upon a stout, tiered plinth base.
This is a super example of an antique shop display cabinet and is of solid joints and construction. It will be delivered waxed, polished and ready for show.
