This is an attractive and good quality antique Sheraton style burr walnut serpentine leather writing table, circa 1920 – 1940. The desk features single panel green and gold leather tooled insert on the top, dove tailed drawer construction, metal fretted swan neck handles, a serpentine front. The table sits on Sheraton style reeded tapering legs. The desk can either stand in the centre of a room or against a wall. The drawer bottoms are constructed of engineered timber and the drawers linings are constructed of oak.
