A very pleasing and quality set of six mid-19th century Lancashire kitchen dining chairs in desirable condition.
The chairs present attractively with class lines and fine proportion delivering county style balanced with simple elegance.
Crafted in ash & elm to be sturdy with box stretcher this versatile set of chairs offer comfort in use with a useful 44cm (17.3") seat height and a comfy rush seat pad - certainly suitable for daily use if required.
An attractive back rises with twin rails separating a ten spindle back capped by a quality wave form header rail.
Standing on hoof feet the chairs display very subtle differences.
The set are solid throughout and exhibit excellent aged colour.
Overall the chairs represent an opportunity to own a fine set of six gorgeous chairs which will serve well and look fabulous for many decades to come.
