Antique Royal Worcester dish, Sebright, 1907 %%alt5%%
Royal Worcester "Fruit basket" dish.
Hand painted and signed by Richard Sebright.

The early green coloured backstamp is for 1907. The dish also carries the design registration identifier RdNo 448729 and shape number 2367.

Richard Sebright worked at Worcester from 1882 through to 1946.
According to one reference source (Antique Marks) he "is viewed as the best fruit painter ever".

The dish is 20.5cm in diameter (8"), and is 3 cm (1") deep.
All measurements are approximate.

Very good condition ... no chips or cracks. There is some crazing to the outer rim yellow ground and to the under side, again confined to the outer edge. There is also some very slight traces of wear to the gilt work.

Please see photos as these form an important part of the description.
