This is an antique rocking chair, an English Edwardian, Windsor, country kitchen, stick back elbow chair in elm, beech and ash dating to circa 1910.

Classic pierced back splat above and below the arm bow
Raked, bentwood back bow, spindled for comfort
Shaped armrests cosset the sitter
Generous elm saddle seat slab displaying grain interest
Raised on turned legs united by a crinoline stretcher
