Antique Regency Mahogany Set of 6 Dining Chairs

A fine quality set of six Regency mahogany dining chairs comprising four single chairs and two carvers. The set displays elegant proportions with beautifully shaped top rails and classic Regency scroll arms to the carvers giving a refined and timeless look.
The chairs are raised on turned front legs with sabre rear legs typical of the period, providing both strength and elegance. The frames are well constructed and retain a rich warm mahogany tone with a pleasing patina developed over time.
The drop in seats are upholstered in a soft fabric which complements the warmth of the timber and offers comfortable seating. The carvers provide additional support and presence at the head of a dining table making this a practical and attractive set.
In the Regency period such chairs were designed for formal dining rooms where comfort and style were equally important. Today they remain highly versatile, ideal for both traditional and contemporary interiors.

In good antique condition with light age related wear. The frames are solid and sturdy. Minor surface marks consistent with age and use. Upholstery is clean and usable though could be updated to suit personal taste.
