This is an Antique Regency Mahogany Pot Cupboard c1811-20. A rare little thing it is raised on straight legs that are chamfered on the inside as all good Georgian antique furniture is. Between the lower legs is a very ornate shelf that has pretty fretwork. There is a single drawer and a single door that is hinged on the right hand side. The drawer has ebony stringing to the edge with the door having ebony stringing with it being in a quarter round shape linking in the corners. The top ebony stringing matches the door. The is a later ball catch that has been added for the door to keep it shut. A great piece that doesn't come up that often.
