A handsome antique Regency mahogany open armchair or desk chair dating from circa 1810. With an oblong top rail over a carved horizontal splat centred by a carved roundel. With scroll arms on arched supports, the drop in seat in an oatmeal fabric and standing on reeded turned tapering front legs and splayed back legs. Would make a wonderful desk chair.

Condition Report:
Solid and sturdy, recently recovered. Good colour and patina. A well-executed solid old repair to the arm. Other wear and marks commensurate with age.
