This is an antique privacy screen. A French, needlepoint upholstered room divider, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Presenting a copiously detailed, fin de siecle screen
Displaying a desirable aged patina with signs of sun fade to reverse
Four panel screen dressed with quality needlepoint upholstery
Displaying a hunting scene, the riders on horseback stand alongside a woodland stream
Shaped top with half-dome forms an attractive accompaniment to the folded screen
Dressed edges finished with red and gold brocade trim borders, accentuated with press studs
