This is a long (2.4M) mid-Victorian pine bench seat.

A superior example of an English, rustic, country kitchen bench from this period, the seat displays a glorious, rich patina with simple notched decoration to the ends.

Very solid and stable the shaped trestle end supports are united by a robust rail and lock to the top by means of the block tennon joints where the ends are visible in the seat top adding to the character of the piece.

Superb quality and a stunning piece presented in good antique condition. Solid joints and construction. Delivered waxed & polished ready for the home.
