Antique Pair Burr Walnut Single Beds c1920
Pair Burr Walnut Queen Anne Style Single Beds and dating from around 1920. Constructed from quality burr walnut and each bed being identical and having a carved serpentine shaped top with central cartouche to the headboards above a beautifully burred walnut panel and further panel below. The foot boards having a carved cabriole post to each side above a single panel and standing on cabriole legs on a pad foot. They have the original screw in side rails. Take a standard single mattress.
(A slatted base can be made for these beds at extra cost please enquire)
Each bed Measures 45" high to headboard x 25" high to top of cabriole post footboard x80" long x 36" wide
In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
