Offered for sale is this superb quality rectangular Victorian carved oak dining table measuring 47" x 42" extending to 83" x 42" with two leaves. The rectangular top has a moulded carved edge above turned and carved supports with origial brass and ceramic castors, thetable will seat 8 to 10. The extending mechanism is of very good quality and comes complete with original handle, been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character. It is in excellent showroom condition and has a bras makers plate to the base "Hewetson, Milner & Thexton Ltd, Tottenham Court Road, London.
