A wonderful antique mahogany occasional side table plant stand, made in England, and dating from around the 1890-1910 period.

This is of great quality and is a useful size to be used as a lamp table or plant stand. The solid mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, the top flips up and there is useful storage space inside. The top has a nicely carved gadrooned edge, this stands on fantastic grooved legs with beautiful pierced fretwork under each corner. There are brass lions head rings on each side, this is nicely finished on all sides so can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is one historical repair on one side panel, seen in the images, this doesn’t detract from the overall look or function.
