A fantastic antique leather top mahogany desk in the Chippendale style. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1900-1910 period.

The quality is amazing, this sits on beautifully carved cabriole legs that terminate in well defined claw and ball feet. It has a serpentine shaped front with gadrooned top & bottom edges, plus canted corners. There are high quality brass handles, and the back is nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item.

The inset leather top is hand coloured and gold tooled, we have had this completely re-polished and the condition is excellent for its age.

This desk is a good size & has a generous work area.
