A stunning antique mahogany cabinet by Maple & Co. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1900-1920 period.
It is of exceptional quality with many beautiful features. There is fine quality carving throughout on the top edges, corners and base. The carving is embellished with gilding, and the top has an amazing sunburst veneer pattern.
The front panels also have gorgeous flame mahogany segmented veneers and are cross banded with darker mahogany.
This is in very good overall condition, we have just had it re-polished. There are a few old marks and bumps here and there under the polish, commensurate for age. Overall this has a beautiful colour and wonderful patina.
The original metal Maple & Co plaque is still on the inside of the door & is showing in one of the images.
