English Victorian Low Stool - Gorgeous Shape - c1890

This lovely cabriole legged mahogany long low stool is presented in very good condition with solid frame and joints.

Ideal as a foot rest or low seat. Originally it would have found use in a draughty house before the days of central heating keeping the owners feet off of the cold floor of their home, or perhaps in a carriage.

Standing upon wonderfully shaped squat cabriole legs and offering a useful 25cm (9.8") height this piece provides classic style and excellent proportion.

The seat is traditionally upholstered and is recently covered with a soft quality textile with matching brocade. The stool is ready to use with the fabric in superb condition.

This piece will make a useful addition to any setting. Delivered ready for the home.
