Antique Leather Shell Case/Waste Paper Bin.
A large 19th century antique brown leather cartridge shell case with the original hand painted coat of arms on the front facia.
This unusual antique leather accessory would be perfect as a waste paper bin, coal or log bin, due to it's ample size and having the benefit of an original tin liner, which is removable.
It can be carried by an original strong brown leather strap handle.
This period antique leather shell case is stamped underneath by the maker B.H and G.L. ltd and it is also stamped with the shell size it can carry which is No 76.
In excellent strong condition.
