Antique Leather Chesterfield Sofa
A large and very impressive antique leather Chesterfield sofa. This was made in England & we would date it to around the 1880-1890’s period.
The quality is outstanding, this is extremely well made and comfortable. The deep buttoned leather has a gorgeous green / tan colour tone and an absolutely beautiful patina. This is filled with horse hair and sits on mahogany bun feet.
We have had this revived and enhanced by our leather restorer, there is one very small repair to the front edge of the seat. Overall this is in great condition for its age.
The previous owner said they purchased this from “Maples” Antique Department in the 1960’s
Width – 100 inches , 254 cm
Depth – 38 inches , 96 cm
Height – 29 inches , 73 cm
