Antique Leather Bound Trunk / Blanket Chest
A superb antique leather bound trunk / blanket chest. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1880-90’s.
The quality is outstanding, this has brass banding around all the edges with gorgeous flower shaped rivets. It is beautifully finished on all sides, the interior is lined with a lovely red baize fabric.
The leather has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, this has been hand coloured and revived by our leather restorer to enhance the natural patina. The condition is excellent for its age, with just some minor wear commensurate for age.

Depth – 18 inches , 46 cm
