A stunning antique oil painting on board, in a gorgeous distressed gilt wood frame. This was most likely made in Italy & I would date it to the 19th century.

The execution is wonderful, and this has acquired an amazing patina, with very small and fine crackling all over, which actually enhance the beauty of this piece. It is framed in a very high quality gilt wood frame, also with lots of surface wear and patina, but no major damage.
