A fine antique fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold heart shaped double portrait locket. Acanthus leaves, forget-me-not flowers and a shield cartouche adorn this splendid piece. Acanthus leaves symbolise everlasting life. Forget-me-nots represent deep love and respect. The shield signifies the desire of the donor to protect the recipient. The original frames and clear portrait protectors are present.
