Very high & very decorative antique gilt wood mirror with some wonderful features including a magnificent signed painting. It’s very hard to show a good image of this mirror & to convey the very large proportions. It looks far better in real life. Please enlarge all the images to appreciate the features. It has outside paneled mirrors & the main one in the middle. In between, are plain painted panels. There’s a magnificent painting on the top of winged cherubs which is signed (see image) & there are floral swags across the top of the mirror. This mirror is very high at just under 9 feet & won’t fit under our shop ceiling, however, it can be viewed in our warehouse. It’s in good original condition & I would date it to around the 1860-80’s period.
