A delightful Florient powder tin made by Colgate & Co. in 1912. The powder tin is in good condition considering it is 103 years old. The lid is decorated with repoussé flowers & foliage & on the lid these words can be seen clearly 'Florient Face Powder Colgate & Co. NEW YORK U.S.A.' The lift off lid comes off easily. The base has these embossed words 'FLESH THIS POWDER IS ALSO PUT UP WITH WHITE AND BRUNETTE' - advertising the three shades of face powder tints available with this line - Florient (flowers of the orient).
