Lovely Antique George 111 Oak Settle and dating from aorund 1780. It has a moulded top rail above four fielded panels and with shaped and downswept silouette armrests on turned supports. The rope springing is original to the way this lovely settle had been designed and original to the Period although obviously the rope itself has been renewed at some point in the past and makes for an extremely strong and comfortable base. It has a deep filled floral cushion pad in good condition. It stands on turned and block legs joined by a squared stretcher.

Measures 41" high x seat height 17" x 24" deep x 76" wide

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak oozing all the charm and character of the period.
