A handsome antique Georgian side cabinet in figured mahogany dating from circa 1810. With drop down cupboard door over a false front. The upper cupboard door opens to reveal storage space inside (bottom is false front which does not open). It has beautifully figured mahogany to the front, with attractive brass handles and stands on bracket feet. Lovely age and patina to the wood. This piece would have originally started life as a commode / chamber pot cupboard and has been converted into a side cabinet. A high quality piece it would make a lovely side cabinet, hall cupboard or TV unit.

Good condition. General wear and marks commensurate with age. Discolouration and stains to top. Some small veneer loss to front top corners and small hole to top of cupboard where it meets top (see photos). It would have stated life as a commode and has been converted into a side cabinet.
