This is a fabulous Georgian garnet cocktail ring in 9ct gold.

It is set with a beautiful large cabochon garnet stone, with the ring head measuring 16 x 14 mm. It has a closed back, typical of the period.

There is a later inscription inside the shank reading “M.L from E.M.N, 1931”. It was probably given as a present to someone that year.

The ring is a size ‘L’ (US 6), weighs 3.8 grams and comes in very good condition for age.

It looks lovely on the finger and would make a fantastic present.
