Lovely antique french walnut double bed in the louis phillippe style and dating from around 1880. It has an architectural shaped head and footboard with moulded top rails and with the headboard having a central carved cartouche above a moulded frieze with reeded column side supports topped with turned phinials. Both head and foot boards have a large moulded and shaped central cross cut panel with the footboard having a reeded panel to the base. It stands on turned feet and has its original screw in side irons. Takes a standard double matress.
