Antique French Terrocotta Bed Warmer
A very rare, mid 19th century French bed warmer/hot water bottle. Made from terracotta with a small spout, handle and original cork stopper.
This unusual flat bottom, glazed container was originally filled with hot water and used to warm up one's bed. A lovely feature piece or can be put to practical use as a rustic doorstop.
Condition and patina consistent with age.
