Antique French Marble Top Walnut Commode
Antique French style marble top commode in good condition, having just been re-polished. It’s very impressive with gilt metal mounts & handles. The marble top has had a repair in the past, which looks like it’s been done professionally & you can just make it out in the images of the top. There are three drawers along the top, two more in the middle & cupboards either side. All the panels on the sides, the cupboards & the drawers are burr walnut with inlays on the edges. This cabinet has many fine features & lots of gilt decoration. Please enlarge all the images. I would date it to around the 1930-50’s period.
