A wonderful little late 19th century French mahogany side chair with a decoratively shaped seat back, finely shaped cabriole front legs and a lovely rush seat featuring an attractive deep apron to the front.

The chair is in good order, structurally all sound with just the most incredible old metal brace repair to one of the back legs as shown. There is some evidence of past woodworm as is so often the case with French antique furniture, but this merely adds to the character of this wonderful piece.
