Antique French farmhouse extending table 281cm
Fantastic size early 19th century French farmhouse extending table to seat 8 to 12, circa 1820.
The whole table has a really lovely scrubbed effect to it and some fantastic age and use marks to it, but it has been fully cleaned and beeswax polished, so it has a pale tone and mellow glow.
The table base is in solid oak and has a single drawer to one side which is compartmented, standing on tapered legs.
The table top is made up of just three lovely wide pitch pine boards and the two table leaves are also in pine. One of which has the most fabulous deep knot to it for added decorative effect!
You will seat 8 in comfort and with the two leaves fitted, you can then seat up to 12.
The two leaves for the table are slid into the ends and fit well, giving you a good solid and firm leaf either end.
Great table, ready for everything you need it to do and will last another 200 years with ease!

110 1/2” or 281cm full length
24 3/4” or 63cm floor to skirt so gives plenty of leg room height, which increases in legroom height when you use the extra leaves.
